Located close to the Arno River and to the bordering Lungarno Amerigo Vespucci, Piazza Ognissanti might not be the most striking of all in Florence, but nevertheless it complements the range of tourist hotspots of the capital of Tuscany. The most significant landmark in Piazza Ognissanti is the homonymous church, with a wealth of artistic masterpieces pertaining to Ghirlandaio, Botticelli and Giotto, just to cite a few. Yet, the surroundings of this piazza are populated by few other objectives, such as Cenacolo di Ognissanti (also referred to as Cenacolo di Ghirlandaio), the Palazzo Lenzi (headquarters of the French Honorific Consulate) and the Palazzo Giuntini (nowadays, a hotel). Furthermore, one should always notice and even visit the Florence Art Gallery located on the northeastern corner of Piazza Ognissanti where Galleria Lapicirella (a gallery of antiquities) can also be spotted.
