NAThis building belongs to an old area called the “Prima cerchia Comunale” (the oldest medieval city) built up in XII century. De' Benci road was a defensive moat, built in front of the walls that shielded the “Prima cerchia Comunale”. But in XIV century it was changed into a street. In the same period the basis of Peruzzi palace was built instead of defensive walls.
